Product Review: Veet Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E

Ever since I entered puberty, I tried every single method on how to remove hair from my body, most importantly on my armpits, I mean no lady would like to have hairy armpits, right? It is proper hygiene dear.

In my journey throughout my teenage years (cause I'm already 20 now) I've gone from plucking to shaving and to waxing. However, after hearing about Veet Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream, I didn't hesitate to try it.

As a girl, it is a no-no to have hairy legs and armpits because it is simply unpleasant to the eye, unhygienic and unfeminine. Therefore we, ladies, seek for ways on how to deal with these hairs: we pluck and shave which is we all know are hurtful and at the same time not good for the skin, then there's the oh-so famous waxing which is, again, HURTFUL but not bad for the skin however EXPENSIVE.

A couple of months ago, I've accidentally watched this commercial about Veet Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream and I thought "yeah, somewhat convincing but would it work on armpits?" then I googled it and it turned out that "YES" it would.

Since I don't want to further more harm my skin by shaving (I quit waxing for it is too expensive), last week I bought me my very own Veet Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream 100mL (247 Php) at Watson's.

First thing's first: Read the Precautions
After reading the precautions, all you need is your hairy legs and you are good to go. So here's mine.

Second: Read the Direction
The direction states that "apply and spread directly onto the skin using the spatula".

Third: Be Patient and Wait
Wait until 5-10 minutes, depending on how thick is the hair, before you remove the cream using the spatula.

Fourth: Remove it Honey!
After waiting for 10 minutes, gently remove the cream using the spatula. Remember, you should not exceed 10 minutes. As you remove the cream you will notice that the hair simply comes off.

Fifth: Wash-wash and away!
After removing all the cream, simply wash your legs with water and TA-DA! DONE!

Pros:

  • It doesn't hurt.
  • It's not that expensive
  • It doesn't darken up your skin.
  • Smooth legs
Cons:
  • The smell! It smells like chemicals from hair salons.
  • When I use it on my armpits: the spatula doesn't remove the tiny hairs instead I use my fingers to pluck the tiny hairs.

Would I buy it again? Yeah, I think I'll stick to this for the meantime.

When I Let Belo Touched my Armpit: The Belo Beauty Deo Review

Hello Lovelies! Being born a sweaty-pig, I struggled during my puberty days, it is either I end up stinky and soaking wet or having a overwhelming smell of deo and yellow stains on my uniforms--because I just don't know where or who to ask or open up for it is a pretty personal and embarrassing stuff. So moving forward, I end up ruining my armpit, it has chicken skin and uneven skin tone. For years I've been using all-natural alum deo, be it powdered or the solid one, just to save my shirts & blouses from stains but the downside is that it doesn't have any antiperspirant property--which is kinda embarrassing, not just for girls but for everyone! Dyahe bes! Hindi nakakaganda. Then one time, my Mom made me use her Avon's Quelch Deo--and it quite good. I didn't sweat and there's no stain--but then again it just my first time of using it--so I wasn't convince yet, I told myself that I need to try it for a longer period. However, the thing is I don'
