Dry Lips Home Remedy: Simple ways on how to treat chapped lips

Why so dry?

There are many reasons why our lips become dry: not drinking enough water and lip biting are some of them. Chapped lips are annoying and definitely not cute that we tend to buy loads and loads of cheap and sometimes expensive lip balms. However, putting layers and layers of lip balm is definitely not the cure.

My Lip Care Routine

Why settle on commercialized product if you can find a natural cure inside your house? No need to waste another penny and at the same time it is safe.

So here's what you need

  • Your Toothbrush
  • Honey
  • An empty lip balm container
My Lip Care Routine

(I do this everytime I brush my teeth and during breaks/recess)
  • After brushing your teeth, wash your toothbrush (make sure that there's no toothpaste left on it).
  • After washing your toothbrush, gently brush it on your lips until the dry part is removed. (BE EXTRA CAREFUL AND GENTLE: you don't want to tear your lips, right?)
  • After brushing your lips rinse it.
  • After that, apply honey on your lips.
Use the empty lip balm container to put your honey in so that when you are outside you can still moisturize your lips every now and then.

Remember: This remedy will not succeed if you don't drink enough water. Make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to avoid dehydration.
