Gyayary Post # 1: Gyaru clothes for beginners

Recently, I found myself so into the Japanese Fashion, specifically Gyaru, that's why I decided to be a gyaru, myself, HOWEVER, changing fashion sense means: you need to empty your closet, start from scratch and buy new clothes which, as we all know, kinda expensive. (╥﹏╥)

I am not a rich kid or the princess of Genovia but I can give you some pointers on how to choose the right clothes on your way to Gyaruness. (=^ェ^=)

So last week, me and my younger brother went on a shopping spree with dad-- and I take that opportunity to start my Gyaru Life. Here are the 2 things I consider upon buying my new clothes:
  • The Color

You should take your conversion slowly and safely because culture is not the only one that has "shock"-- fashion too has its own. Instead of racing up into buying Liz Lisa dresses why not settle first into the basic: wearing pastel colored clothes.  The Gyaru and Lolita fashion are known for their use of pastel colors in dresses and accessories for they are so kawaii and girly.
  • The Design

As a middle class girl I should make the most out of my money that's why I always seek for stores who have cheap prices but still have clothes with cute designs and details. Laces is a must for they add elegance, girliness and kawaiiness. Clothes with beads and sequins are welcome too for they add sparkles which is definitely cute.

All in all...
The shopping experience was fun but looking for Gyaru inspired clothes are really hard yet fulfilling because everytime I see something Gyaru-ish I feel as though I've found some sort of treasure. \(-ㅂ-)/ ♥ ♥ ♥
So to end this post, here is the outcome of my first gyaru-inspired shopping...

*ps: I haven't shop for stockings and shoes yet that's why. (◐‿ ◑)
