Hello Lovelies!!
Again, this is a repost from my IG Account. :)
Last year, being my office near SM Megamall, I was always on the lookout for beauty products, especially Korean ones. My curiosity for Tony Moly started when I encountered the brand while watching a Korean show on an Asian Channel I guess Mnet? Not sure really. It was a show featuring a Korean model named Irene and a Korean Idol and they were like surveying the make-ups of highschool students--and most of them own Tony Moly make-ups and I was like * o *
Confusing right? But I believe what they are trying to say in a not so "eww" way is that this lip moisturizer is basically made from snail secretion...yeah...I know, SLIME.
Moving on, let's discuss the benefits of this popular "Snail Slime", shall we?
- Hyaluronic acid - moisture binding agent and aids in creating collagen.
- Glycoproteins - water-binding moisturizer. For skin rejuvenation.
- Proteoglycans - skin molecule like collagen.
- Antimicrobial - cleansing ability
- Copper Peptides - collagen and elastin production booster.
All in all, this mucus is packed of moisturizing goodness! Lovely! And let's thank Tony Moly for making in convenient for us! To be able to put all these moisturizers on our lips without any snail touching it. :D Asian Skincare at its finest! xD
What? TonyMoly's Ferment Snail Lip Treatment Stick (Timeless Collection)
How much? 475 Php not sure though, bought it last year (too expensive for my taste)
Where? TonyMoly, SM Megamall
Pros:
- Good lip balm, my lips didn't chap ever since I used this
- It has SPF 13, which protects the lip from the harmful uv rays (another thing I love about Korean Products)
- It has long lasting effect, I only apply it 3 times a day: after taking a bath in the morning, after brushing my teeth when lunch time's over and before I sleep. :) I also love the packaging and the fact that the cap is not loose :)
- It also doesn't melt easily, which corresponds to looong time of usage :) (update, bought this product last year and still using it up until now although it's nearly empty *frugal living alert*)
Cons:
- Expensive, but worth it :)
- Not tinted, however it does bring back your natural lip color :)
Recommend? Of course! Give your lips some lovin' and moisturize it! Mwah!
Love Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ (because it was worth it although expensive)
