Avril Lavigne's Hello Kitty MV racist?

Finally! The music video was published, and guess what? It earned bunch of comment stating  that it is racist. Honestly, in my own opinion--I'm not a Japanese so I don't know if it is really foul in terms of culture however I'm a fan of the Japanese culture and people (let me point that out!! :D)-- my observation is that Avril is just showcasing the modern Japanese teenage girl generation as a thank you to all her Japanese fans. She's just stating the uniqueness, beauty and cuteness of the Japanese culture.

And to further convince you with that: at the near end part of the mv you will even see the different faces of Japanese teenage generation: from lolita to gyaru to the simple kawaii ones walking cheerfully behind Avril--now, isn't that just lovely? :3

Moreover, upon hearing the song for the first time couple of months ago I really thought that its mv will be somewhat like this--kawaii, colorful and Japanese-ish. Because duh "Hello Kitty", for one thing, is from Japan; another is that she even mentioned "Minna Saiko Arigatou Kawaii"--well isn't that Japanese?
