Review: Kojie-San Skin Lightening Soap

image
I've been using Kojie-San Soap for about two months already. Before using it, of course, I googled it first. So Kojie-san soap's main ingredient is Kojic Acid but what is Kojic acid?

Kojic acid is a product primarily used to whiten a person’s skin. Many consumers use products containing thisacidto lighten freckles and other dark spots on the skin. Although mainly used for cosmetic purposes, it also has other purposes such as preserving food color and killing certain bacteria. When used on the skin, it reduces the amount of melanin production.
In 1989,kojic acidwas discovered in mushrooms in Japan. Theacidis also present in other substances such as the leftover residue from fermenting Japanese rice wine. Scientists have also found this ingredient in other natural foods including soy and rice.

At first....
When I first used it, It kinda sting....A LOT on the face. But one thing I noticed after washing my face with it-- is that my pimple suddenly popped (if that's the right term to use) and bled. After that day my pimple dry up and since then, when I have a new pimple: it simply stays on my face for like 1-2 days ONLY.

Now....
After weeks and months of using it, my skin started to peel off and light up. Even if I use lotion or body butter my skin still continue to peel off but I think it is a part of the lightening process. The first peeling process happened on my face then now it is my arms and legs' turn.
All in all, after all the stings and the peeling---it worked! The soap did exactly what its box says: It whitens. And somehow, I find my skin a bit softer than before.

Kojie-san Price:
  • 1 pc - 45 Php
  • 3 pcs. - 120 Php
*I recommend you to buy the bigger bar, the slim bar is not advisable for the soap melts easily.

Would I buy it again? Of course! It is my current soap. (^ v ^)

When I Let Belo Touched my Armpit: The Belo Beauty Deo Review

Hello Lovelies! Being born a sweaty-pig, I struggled during my puberty days, it is either I end up stinky and soaking wet or having a overwhelming smell of deo and yellow stains on my uniforms--because I just don't know where or who to ask or open up for it is a pretty personal and embarrassing stuff. So moving forward, I end up ruining my armpit, it has chicken skin and uneven skin tone. For years I've been using all-natural alum deo, be it powdered or the solid one, just to save my shirts & blouses from stains but the downside is that it doesn't have any antiperspirant property--which is kinda embarrassing, not just for girls but for everyone! Dyahe bes! Hindi nakakaganda. Then one time, my Mom made me use her Avon's Quelch Deo--and it quite good. I didn't sweat and there's no stain--but then again it just my first time of using it--so I wasn't convince yet, I told myself that I need to try it for a longer period. However, the thing is I don...
