Kawaiiness doesn't require spending much money in buying new stuffs. Sometimes, all you have to do is be creative and reuse stuffs. And in my case, it is my old school socks.
Since my AutoCAD is being such a pain in my coconut shell. I decided have a break and fly to my anti-stress kawaii world and make a kawaii-patootsie stuff--so upon wondering what to do I remember my old school socks.
I got it out of my cabinet and I said
"Sock-san, don't worry. I'll fix you!"
So there you have it, my adventure on deciding to patch the hole on my old school socks.
Here's what I used:
- Pair of Old Socks (obviously)
- Two kinds of Red Ribbon (One for the hearts, and one for the bow part)
- Black thread
- Scissors
That's all! (^ u ^)
First
I cut out heart-shaped decors from my wide width ribbon. Actually, you can use felt fabric or other fabric for the hearts--the reason why I used ribbon is because it's the only thing that's available. I didn't spend any in making this, moreover, even the sewing tools are not mine--I borrowed it from my granny. (*////*) (^ u ^)
Second
I used those to patched the hole in Sock-san.
Third
I made a bow using my thin ribbon and sewed it on one side of Sock-san.
After that...TADA!! You have your own Kawaii Sock-san! Excuse me for my crappy stitches but I'm still learning to sew. >.<" Gome!
