After watching some episodes of Hannibal, I end up having some quirky and creepy dreams. So in order to recover from those nightmares--I paused watching Hannibal, for the meantime, and I find myself an anime that somewhat resembles Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (cos I really-really like it! I hope it has a season 2 -/\-). So thanks to myanimelist.net I end up watching this "sort of realistic but not really" anime, Suki-tte Ii Na Yo.
Summary
The story of first love centers around Tachibana Mei, a girl who has never made friends or had a boyfriend in 16 years. One day, she accidentally injures Kurosawa Yamato, the school's most popular boy. For some reason, Yamato becomes interested in Mei and starts a one-sided friendship with her. He even protects her from a stalker - by kissing her.
(I super love Mei and Yamato to the point that I must sketch them. xD)
My Summary
Honestly, the main point is Mei never trusted anyone, she's an introvert. She speaks whatever she wants--one thing I like about her. She's not THAT weird and she likes nekkos/cats. On the other hand, the guy: Yamato--is on the reverse side: he's friendly and everyone loves him but he's not that perfect as a person. However, due to a kicking scenario he ends up liking her (Mei).
My Review:
I really like this anime, it is most of the time realistic. It tackles about Boy Issues, Girl Issues, dating, friendship, insecurities, trust, love and CATS :3.
This anime has this message that--
"everyone has their own flaws and pains, so in order to love someone you must also love his/her flaws and pains too"
--Which was seen in each of the character's life. For example, Yamato--he is handsome and rich but behind those, there's something about him that one may consider not "perfect" for the stereotype Prince character of a Shoujo anime--which I truly love. I adore the Mangaka for doing that.

It is a 13-episode anime, I haven't watched the special episodes yet. =.="
Happy watching minna-san! (^ o ^)/
I actually enjoyed reading through this posting. Many thanks.
