Gyayary: World Bex 2014

Find me! Ahahaha! The Haggard one! xD

Being an architecture student, going to the World Bex is one of the "a must", for it is not just a convention--it also serves as a way to extend our knowledge (as arki students) to material possibilities, to the latest innovations in the building sector and also to expose us to the Premier Architectural Firms here in the Philippines.

Held at the World Trade Center Center in Pasay, the World Bex showcases local and international products and companies for the building sector. Seminars where also held, mostly regarding architecture, sustainability and construction, speakers were known architects, planners and builders--too bad we didn't had the opportunity to attend one.

The convention was packed with contractors, engineers, architects and students. One thing I like about this convention are the freebies, as for us--we got a chance to have a free pouch and a snow cone from Supreme Pipe.

Moreover, a contest was also held. The Obra Maestra contest showacases the talent of interior designers. And we are oh-so privilege to met the winners and had a picture with them.
The theme of their bedroom design was "PARIS"

As for the Architectural Side, here are some of the firms that had joined the World Bex this year.

These are just a view. My friend Alex, didn't have much time to take pictures of all.
The following firms are:
Jagnus
BAAD
PRSP
Palafox

All in all, I didn't regret attending this year's World Bex. I had a lot of fun with my BFFs. Hope to attend some more. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it is very tiring. But then again, walking is considered as an exercise, what you think?

SAYOONARA!!
